February may be short on days but there’s no shortage of great family concerts in the city this month. Some of the genre’s finest and most decorated acts pass through several boroughs in the span of 28 days. Here, the six kids concert you won’t want to miss in this month.

Josh and the Jamtones

When: Sat., Feb. 1, 11 a.m.

Where: Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway, Upper West Side

Cost: $20 adults / $15 kids, cheaper for members

Pounding drums and pure unadulterated energy highlight the concert experience of one of the country’s best live bands. Making a rare trip down south from Boston, the Jamtones promise a Sweating-to-the-Oldies-worthy performance only with modern original songs and absolutely no tiny red gym shorts.
