Click through for ideas and resources guaranteed to make this Thanksgiving a whole lot easier — and more enjoyable — for the entire family.

Family Style Dining

Sometimes it’s a toss-up whether to keep the family chaos contained or take it out in public. Halleluja for family-friendly dining options. Faves include Hill Country BBQ, offering a Texan style pit-smoked turkey and front row for the football (their menu can also be ordered to go), and Bubby’s with a menu stuffed with all the comforting classics and, of course, its famous pies. The pies can also be pre-ordered for pick up if you decide to stay home for the feast. Most restaurants offer a Thanksgiving menu with a set price for adults and a discounted price for kids. Downtown favorite, Nickel and Diner are doing a 4-course lunch and early dinner menu at $68 for adults and $40 for kids with lots of choices for starters and mains and a mousse or tart for dessert.
