If you’ve got a little one more interested in sewing than soccer, pumped for origami not overnights, or way into weaving instead of water sports, check out these summer camps for all kinds of artisans. With the right planning, June, July and August will each offer their own handmade project experience and by the time September rolls around, you’ll have a school year’s worth of unique birthday presents in your closet! For Budding Karans and Kors: SewHo

At fashion and accessories designer Conchi Vitale’s SewHo, campers will learn a variety of hand sewing stitches like top-stitch, edge-stitch, and basting along with sewing machine basics and finishes like over-edge zigzags. Besides being able to fix the holes in your socks, these little seams-people will soon be making pillows, handbags, accessories and even outfits for their dolls.

When: One Week Camps starting June 15th, 9:30a.m. – 2:30p.m.

Cost: $675 + $40 fee per week or $125 + $40 fee per day
