For Paper Chasers: Origami Camp

All kids gape in wonder when they see a square piece of paper become a crane, and Brooklyn’s Taro Origami summer camp offers them the opportunity to learn this ancient art form themselves. The four-day camp begins by teaching the history of origami, and the importance of accuracy and patience (!). On each day that follows, campers learn more complicated folds, with skills building toward the completion of a complex group project.

What: Origami Summer Camp
Where: Taro’s Origami Studio, 95 7th Ave. 2nd Fl., Park Slope
When: Four-Day Camps starting July 7th, 1-3p.m.
