Take the Ferry to Camp: CMA Art Colony Camp

At the Children's Museum of Art's Art Colony Camp, students choose from over 50 full-day art courses taught by professional teaching artists, but the first choice to make is whether to spend the camp week in TriBeCa, or on historic Governors Island. Governors Island campers meet each morning at the ferry loading dock in Battery Park and get to spend time exploring the island. Pixilation, Paper Arts, Shadow Puppet Theater, and The Art of Minecraft are just some of the courses on offer, and visits to local galleries (for TriBeCa campers) add another layer of experience to the camp week.
