Expect to hear songs from the band’s latest CD, The Colored Pencil Factory, including the stellar title track which ranks as one of the best family songs of the past few years. Elena Moon Park and Friends When: Sat., Apr. 5, 1 p.m. Where: Brooklyn Public Library, Central Library, 10 Grand Army Plaza, Prospect Heights Cost: Free For all of the quality in modern family music, there still exists a wide gap for authentic diversity. The result is an enchanting collection of songs that adds much range to the modern kindie tableau. This free Carnegie Kids concert will feature special guest vocalist Sonia De Los Santos, another one of Dan Zanes’ Fine Friends, and another reason you and your kids should be in the crowd.
