"While my family usually spends our weekends hanging around our neighborhood of Park Slope, on Mother's Day we venture out a bit. We always start our morning planting our window boxes, which has become a Mother's Day tradition. Then we love to head into DUMBO. We hit the Brooklyn Bridge Park playground, which my 6 year old and 3.5 year old twins love. We then usually laze around on the grass by the water, just hanging out and watching the boats go by. We'll bring a picnic lunch, stop at Jane's Carousel, and grab sweets at Ample Hills Creamery."
