Need a little inspiration to make this year’s Mother’s Day great? Red Tricycle asked ten local moms and business owners to share their favorite ways to spend this special day. Go ahead, steal one of their ideas – from checking out a Brooklyn design show to visiting a farm upstate, you’re sure to have a wonderful Mother’s Day with your family.

Courtney Ebner, co-owner of Norman & Jules toy store

"This year I’ll be enjoying the day with my mom and my 3 year old daughter Charley. We’ll be spending the day in Brooklyn. First stop will be the Swoon Exhibit at The Brooklyn Museum, lunch at Milkbar and then we’ll stop by the fallen tree play ground in Prospect Park to let Charley blow off some toddler steam. Avi and my father both have to work that day so we’ll all meet up for dinner, my hope is that it’s warm enough to eat in the yard at Frankies Spuntino on Court St. It’s one of my all time faves."

What’s your favorite way to spend Mother’s Day in NYC with your family? Share your ideas and inspire other local moms!
