Two For Mum: Mother's Day Brunch & Spa Combos

It may seem like the biggest Mother’s Day cliché (next to corner deli flowers) but we’ve yet to meet an NYC mom who would be bummed about being treated to brunch on May 14th. But, in a city that’s teeming with brunch spots, it may feel impossible to pick just the right one. Not to worry. We did the taste-testing for you and, behold, our list of more than a dozen places the mom in your life will absolutely love. For a Fancy Brunch: The Plaza

It’s as iconic as it gets here in the Big Apple, but you can’t go wrong with brunch at the Plaza Hotel. This year, the hotel is offering a Mother’s Day Tea featuring a selection of small bites (sandwiches, scones, pastries) for moms (accompanied by a glass of Champagne) while the kids can indulge in The Children’s Eloise Tea with classic tea-time treats. Reservations are a must if you’re planning on grabbing your white gloves and finest tea time attire. FYI: You can toast mom all Mother’s Day weekend (both May 13th and May 14th) from noon until 5 p.m.
