Preggo mamas who are still at a loss for that just-right baby name rejoice! The website Nameberry recently released the top baby names for the first quarter of 2019. And a brand-new pick made it to the number one spot on the list.

Using data from website visitors, Nameberry calculated which names got the most hits in the first quarter period of the year. With over 11 million views of name pages so far in 2019, it’s clear that parents-to-be are searching for popular picks.

So which name got the most views? For the first time ever, Posie rose to the top for girls’ names. In prior years this fab floral name hasn’t even managed to break into the U.S. top 1,000. Posie replaces Olivia—which was a previous fave and has been a top 10 winner since 2001.

The current top five girls’ names, according to Nameberry, are:

  1. Posie
  2. Isla
  3. Olivia
  4. Aurora
  5. Maeve

When it comes to boys’ names the new winners are:

  1. Milo
  2. Jasper
  3. Atticus
  4. Theodore
  5. Asher

Along with the most popular picks, Nameberry also names winners in other notable categories. Olivia and Jack scored top honors as names most likely to keep succeeding and Ophelia and Silas are the most eloquent literary names winners!
