It’s Reigning Cool Dads in Portland

Portland is home to some very cool dads. One part hero and two parts role model, our cool dads are an impressive array of men living, working and raising their kids in this fair city. So what makes these guys cool? They love their partners, successfully maintain a work/life balance, and they bring their A-game to their jobs. Read on to discover cool dads who make our city more awesome.

Chris and his family, including nine- and ten-year-old sons, moved to Portland six months ago. One son is a foodie and the other a sports nut. Welcome team! Before his new gig with the Blazers and Rose Garden, Chris was COO of the biz side of the LA Kings franchise when they won a Stanley Cup and has his name inscribed on the trophy to boot! On the personal side, Chris is looking to shave his marathon time when he runs the Portland Marathon this fall. The McGowans are bringing it to PDX and already fit right in!
