Now that the summer days have passed us by, you might be looking for a new music class, tumble tots or art experience for your little one. Enter KidPass! This brainchild of two techie dads launches in San Francisco on September 20 and local parents could not be more thrilled. Read on and sign up!

The Basics

KidPass was born out of the frustrations of a group of tech execs who became dads and discovered how difficult it was to find and book kids’ activities in their neighborhoods. We all know how that goes! KidPass enables parents to discover thousands of activities for kids of all ages, from prenatal classes to activities for school-aged children, and instantly book them online or via a mobile app, saving parents time and money.

Step 1: sign up for KidPass online. The cost: $49/month for a basic plan, which gives you 10 credits, $99 for the Family Plan (25 credits) and $189 for the Power Plan (50 credits). Credits roll over for 90 days and parents can always purchase additional credits for $5 each. Most activities cost 2-3 credits, though there are some for less and some for more. There are even free events on occasion.

Hello, Bay Area!

Following on major success in New York, Washington, DC and Los Angeles, it was a no brainer for KidPass to make it’s way to the techie hub of Silicon Valley. As CEO and Cofounder Solomon Liou says, “San Francisco seemed like a natural next step for KidPass. We have friends in the Bay Area especially who’ve expressed the same frustrations that we initially had in finding and booking activities for their children. We want to bring our services, and our mission of helping parents enrich the lives of their children, to as many families as we can. In my experience, SF families are like those here in New York: very busy! We just want to ensure that for parents, the process of finding and booking these experiences for their children is as seamless as possible.”

KidPass is excited to launch in the Bay Area with over 200 activity partners, with thousands of activities across the board. The Coop SF, Bumble Los Altos, Peekadoodle Kidsclub, La Petite Playhouse, Hop N Play, San Francisco Music Together, Little Bears Music and STEMful are a handful of the awesome spots that are ready to welcome KidPass members. They plan to roll out in more neighborhoods after launch so look for new classes to be added.

Try It Out: Free Month

Use this link or enter code REDTRICYCLESF at checkout and you’ll get a free month to see for yourself whether KidPass will work for you. The month starts when activated and automatically renews if not cancelled by the month’s end (you can cancel at any time).
