Safeco Field Tour – SODO

Get out the rye bread and the mustard Mommy, it's time for a Safeco Field tour! This one-hour tour gets you behind the scenes at the coolest baseball field in America—from the fancy visitor’s clubhouse, to the private batting cage (where you can meet Iron Mike), to the dugout, you’ll get to go where the big leagues go. Pose for photos on the comfy couches in the clubhouse, line up along the dugout railing and visualize an M’s win, or take a seat in the Press Box and daydream about catching a foul ball. If you’re lucky, you’ll get Uncle Bobby as a tour guide, who’s been with the M’s for 14 years, and will share lots of fun facts about baseball, Safeco Field and life in general. Did you know they use over 200,000 baseballs in one year at Safeco and that there are six kinds of grass on the field? You’ll learn that and more on this fun tour with your little infielder. And if you have a whole team of baseball lovers, you can book a Birthday Tour, where your group will get a private suite, access to the Children’s Playfield, a guided tour for up to 20 people, a scoreboard message for the birthday kid, party favors and time in the dugouts. You can even add on time with the Mariner Moose and time in the Speed Pitch cage.

Don't Miss: The first foul ball that made it up to the Press Box Suite is enshrined on the back wall of the Press Box. Go take a look when you’re done gaping at the view.

We Suggest: Buy your tickets ahead of time and get there early—they will leave without you if you show up even a minute late!

Cost: $12/Adults; $11/Seniors; $10/Kids (3-12); 2 & under Free. Birthday Tours are $300 for up to 20 people; $15/additional person.

Details: Tours are one hour and meet at the Safeco Field Team Store. Check the website for times and availability (dependent on game schedules during the spring and summer months). Tickets can be purchased online, by calling 206-346-4241 or at any Team Store. For birthday parties, call 206- 346-4246.
