Work-from-home dad Yih Huang lives in Lake City with his wife Sarah, 4-year-old Kiley and 2- year-old Xander. Huang has a background in the financial services industry, but he balances taking care of the kids with working remotely for a biotechnology company while his wife clocks in some serious hours as a pediatrics resident at Seattle Children’s. When the kids aren’t collecting eggs from the family’s three backyard chickens, Huang packs lunches and loads the kiddos in the car to explore the city. “I really enjoy taking the kids to Golden Gardens and watching them climb all over the awesome playground structures with the Olympics and the Sound in the background,” he says.” How does he make time for family, work, and chores? “Three words,” Huang explains. “Part-time daycare.”
