The Harmon Restaurant

The Harmon Restaurant’s hop, skip and a jump location makes it an easy resting spot for families on the go. Just across the street from the Chihuly glass bridge, along the Link light rail line, it’s a familiar fave to Tacoma residents of all ages. But it’s a particularly great spot for families because of its casual atmosphere with lots of space, so kids can spread out around the table. Alongside their signature on-tap brews, the restaurant serves up food plates piled with the good stuff. Burgers the size of your head and a kids’ menu geared toward mass appeal (think: PB&J, mac ‘n’ cheese and more). If you’re planning a trip, keep an eye out for their weekly events that include free kids’ meals on Sundays.

Perfect pour: A pint of the Point Defiance IPA goes well with any and everything on the menu.
