Seattle trick-or-treating has the green light for 2021. And while there are plenty of Halloween activities happening around the city, many of the traditional neighborhood trick-or-treat events are still on hold. Map our your family’s trick-or-treat route with our updated list of community events. Keep reading to find safe Halloween activities around Seattle. Happy Halloween from all of us at Tinybeans!

Pumpkin Bash at Woodland Park Zoo
The animals won't be the only ones receiving treats at this year's Pumpkin Bash. On Halloween weekend, costumed kiddos can trick-or-treat throughout the zoo then watch as the animals stomp, chomp and crunch pumpkins throughout the day. Psst! One costumed child (12 & under) will be admitted free with each full-priced paid adult admission.

Trick-or-Treat at Pacific Science Center
Celebrate Halloween and the spooky season with trick-or-treating at PacSci! Dress up in your fave Halloween costume and join other families for haunted live science shows, creepy hands-on activities and more. Psst! Be sure to stop by the scary science stations for candy, toys and other treats!

Hilloween - Capitol Hill
Start with some musical performances and a carnival, add in a costume parade led by a marching band, carnival games and plenty of treats from Broadway Avenue’s merchants, and you’ve got the perfect way to celebrate Halloween. Oh, and did we mention that it’s totally free? Sweet!

Trick-or-Treat at the West Seattle Junction
The Junction is bringing back good old-fashioned trick-or-treating this year. Although California won't be closed down, merchants will still be handing out candy to costumed kiddos on Halloween. Keep your eyes peeled for candy stations too. Families can also order a Harvest Fest Kids Tote to add to the day ($35). It's full of crafts, treats and a special surprise from The Junction.

Trick-or-Treat on the Seattle Waterfront
Get a jump-start on your Halloween haul by taking your costumed cuties trick-or-treating along the Seattle waterfront. On Sun., Oct. 27., kids can trick-or-treat from noon-4 p.m. at  participating businesses from the Ferry Terminal at Pier 52 to Pier 66, and parents can take advantage of free parking at several waterfront garages or the free Waterfront Shuttle. To top it off, kids can enter the costume contest for the chance to win prizes, interact with costumed characters at Waterfront Park on Pier 58 and enjoy live music, activities and games.

Admiral District Trick-or-Treating - West Seattle
Get your trick-or-treating done in the daylight hours and the day before Halloween at this annual Halloween extravaganza in West Seattle's Admiral District. Look for the Halloween posters at participating businesses and get ready to load up your treat bags with tons of Halloween goodies! Note: this event has been moved to the day prior to Halloween to make it easier for kids to participate who receive “early release” on Wednesday.

Trick-or-Treat on the Ave. - Upper Queen Anne
Each year hundreds of little ghosts and goblins head to upper Queen Anne Ave. for the neighborhood’s annual trick-or-treat festival put on by the Upper Queen Anne Merchants Association. This year, the festivities will kick off at 3 p.m. on the 31st, so you can do your trick-or-treating in the daylight hours!

McGraw Trick-or-Treat - Magnolia
Starting at 4 p.m., costumed kiddos can trick-or-treat at Magnolia Village. This is a great option for little punkins who don't want to walk very far or little ones who are new to the trick-or-treating scene. The best part? You'll be home in time for dinner.

Wallingford Center Trick-or-Treat
Put on your Halloween costume and boogie over to the Wallingford Center for indoor trick-or-treating and plenty of family fun. In addition to enjoying the spooky (but not scary) decorations, snap some pics at the two photo ops and don't forget a non-perishable food donation for the Annual Fall Food Drive benefiting Wallingford Family Works.

Halloween Trick-or-Treat at University Village
Take a stroll through U Village where participating merchants will be passing out candy to costumed kiddos ages 11 & under on Halloween. Once your little monsters are all sugared out, head over to the covered kids play area near Kid’s Club to let them burn off their Halloween high.

Trick-or-Treat in Fremont
Grab your buckets (or your pillowcases!) and head to Fremont for this annual trick-or-treating extravaganza that's back this year. This year, lots of Fremont retailers and restaurants will be handing out candy to kids in costume who are accompanied by adults. This trip to "The Center of the Universe" will surely be one to remember!

Eastside

Trick or Treat with the Farm Animals - Bellevue
Kids ages 3-9 are invited to put on their Halloween costumes and come to the farm for a very special tour. Your child will get to see what costumes the animals are wearing and you’ll even see an animal do a trick to get a treat. We’ll also go to the pumpkin patch and your child will get to pick out a pumpkin to take home. Come dressed for the weather. Registration required.

Trick-or-Treat on the Ridge - Snoqualmie Ridge
At this annul event, kids in costume will begin their spooktacular adventure at Key Bank where they will pick up their treat bag and passport. Visit participating businesses in the passport, located along Center Blvd., collect a passport stamp and a treat until you reach your final destination at the Snoqualmie Valley YMCA. At the Y, kids can turn in their completed passports for a special treat and play carnival games, decorate a pumpkin and play in the bounce houses!

Pumpkins in the Park 2021 - Kirkland
Pumpkins in the Park is a Fall Harvest Festival put on by the Kirkland Downtown Association. There will be a pumpkin patch, yummy treats, carnival games, trick-or-treating, and a dog costume contest! Come dressed in your costume.

Head over to the Marketplace at Factoria on the 31st for a safe (and dry) afternoon of trick-or-treating. Not only will the kids get candy (while supplies last from participating vendors), but there will be strolling characters, games, music and more, too!

Rain or shine, you and your little ghosts and goblins will stay warm and dry trick-or-treating inside Bellevue Square. Select retailers will be ready  with candy beginning at 5 p.m. After you fill your treat buckets, be sure to enjoy the live musical performances in Center Court, mad science booth on Level 2 and "Take Your Own Photo” booths and balloon tying throughout the shopping center.

Begin your Halloween adventure by trick-or-treating with participating businesses in downtown North Bend. Collect treats, listen to live music by Jayleigh Ann and the Lost Boys and take boo-tiful photo ops with local merchants. Psst! Many businesses (over 30) in the historic district of North Bend, along North Bend Way, will be participating in this annual community event as well as nearby surrounding streets.

Redmond Town Center will be getting in on the Halloween action this year. Starting at 4 p.m., lil' ghosts and goblins can seek out Halloween treats from participating merchants (while supplies last). In addition to trick-or-treating, there will costume photo ops in the photo booth, a Springfree trampoline to work off the sugar rush, face painting and Halloween merchant specials.

Pacific Raceways in Kent is your go-to spot for trunk-or-treating fun.
