Queen Anne Book Company

When the previous neighborhood bookstore closed its doors, the community pulled together and the Queen Anne Book Company was born. The launch of the store just five years ago was a true grassroots effort involving local residents, industry professionals, and book lovers everywhere. And it’s quickly become a city staple and favorite hangout for the Queen Anne community. Queen Anne Book Company loves kids and employs a dedicated kids’ buyer to bring the latest and greatest teen, middle grade and picture book recommendations to the shelves. You can feel confident in what your child is reading – whatever level – because the staff reads selections carefully, so they can answer questions about content and age-appropriateness. They are also well-versed in all books and genres and can recommend a great series or a riveting read-aloud the whole family will enjoy. For the beginning readers in your crew, there is a wide variety of picture books to introduce them to the wonderful world of books.
