Just Opened: Seattle’s Newest Place to Splash Around

The love between a little one and her spray park is a special thing. Somewhere between puppy love and her love for the ice cream truck on a sunny day, it’s high up there on the list. And we moms love them too. Maybe not as much as we love a relaxing pedi coupled with a glass of wine, but we do. After all, they wrangle the wee ones on a sunny day. They don’t cost a penny. And somehow they seem a little more sanitary than wading pools. But whatever the reason, Seattle kiddos can’t seem to get enough of these wonderfully wet playgrounds. So here’s the scoop on the newest spray park on the block. Welcome Highland Park Spray Park!

Green Means Go

Ever been to those water parks where you’re not sure what makes the water go? Is there a motion sensor? Is it on a timer? Is there a secret sequence like the one in Indiana Jones? Highland Park Spray Park makes it easy with a big green Go button that’s within reach for most little ones. If the water turns off, just push the button and you’re back to it, lickety split.
