Dining out with your entire brood can be an exercise in extreme patience. Thank goodness for smartphones and tablets to keep tots with growling tummies busy. However, if you’re looking to up the dining out fun factor, these six Seattle-area establishments will provide good eats with a side of entertainment for the kiddies.

Vios Cafe

Oopah! Vios Café’s two Seattle locations cook up authentic Greek classics to tickle your taste buds. Save the Ravenna location for date night, but take the whole family to feast at the Capitol Hill location. This family-friendly restaurant offers a fully-stocked kids area with books and toys for the youngest diners to enjoy. Parents can relax, eat a meal and have a drink while kids get creative. Vios Café offers traditional chicken skewers with hummus and pita or spaghetti and meatballs and mac ‘n cheese for the less adventurous eaters. Psst! Introduce your kids to a complete culinary experience by sharing a sampler of dips, salads and small plates off the menu. Choose from a variety of Greek favorites including spanakopita, tzatziki and Kalamata tapenade.
