To help you out, we’ve got a list of quality entertainment perfect for an afternoon or two of couch crashing. Flip through the slideshow below to see our top picks for your favorite little people to watch while they’re on the mend.

Ask the StoryBots (Netflix)

If you've got a kiddo under five, this Netflix original about a group of inquisitive robots is the sort of show that'll make you feel good about TV time. Watch the StoryBots as they investigate the answer to One Big Question (that's always adorably asked by a real, live kid) each show. Why do airplanes fly? Why does night happen? Why is the Sky Blue? Kids will be love the music videos, snappy dialogue, and overall silliness; grown-ups will get a kick out of how the bots interact with real people and places.

Each episode features a special guest star, so keep an eye out for big names including Jay Leno, Kevin Smith, and Whoopi Goldberg.

Ages: 2 & up.
