Whether you say something scary or something sweet, use chalk to relay your message. We used a chalkboard-painted canvas to relay our message but notes scribbled on the sidewalk and driveway as your guests approach your home work just as well. The message looks even better when it gets smeared and starts to disappear!

To make: For outdoor messages,oversized chalk is easier to work with. Get the kids involved to help draw and spell out your message!
