How the San Diego Writers Spent Their Summer Vacation

Ever wonder what the Red Tricycle team does when we’re not out exploring all the fun events and places to visit in San Diego? The writers kept very busy this summer season with some amazing adventures. From awesome vacations to swimming at the beach, to Comic-Con and the County Fair, our writers had a blast! This has been our busiest summer yet! We went to Durango, Colorado for the first time for a family reunion. The kids got to swim with cousins, visit an awesome train museum and even watch an exciting theatrical reenactment of a western saloon gunfight! We then made our way to the Grand Canyon and enjoyed the peaceful beauty there. Back home in San Diego, we enjoyed a full day of fun at the San Diego County Fair, where our daughter also participated in her first dance recital. And four non-stop days of Comic-Con left us exhausted, but grateful for all the exciting experiences and happy memories we shared as a family there.
