Ever wonder what the Red Tricycle team does when we’re not out exploring all the fun events and places to visit in San Diego? The writers kept very busy this summer season with some amazing adventures. From awesome vacations to swimming at the beach, to Comic-Con and the County Fair, our writers had a blast! Flip through the photo album to see what they were up to this summer.

My guys and I spent the summer in and around beautiful San Diego. Our days were filled with swim lessons at San Diego Swim School, kids’ golf at the Loma club, the beach, strawberry picking at Carlsbad Strawberry Company, Touch-a-Truck, Legoland, riding bikes, running RC cars and feeding ducks at the duck pond. Evenings were filled with movies in the park, Shrek, the Musical and The Music Man at Moonlight Amphitheatre. Many Taco Tuesdays were had with friends and family right in our own backyard. Speaking of backyard fun, we also grew our own apples, limes, persimmons, peaches, tomatoes, onions, garlic, red potatoes and peppers. What a harvest! We spent the 4th of July weekend visiting family under a different set of stars — the Mojave Desert! Brewster Park has one of the best fireworks shows in So Cal. It was an awesome summer!
