You’ll swoon over this airy, spacious, newly opened five-story bar and restaurant that’s the perfect spot to celebrate summer’s arrival. Maverick’s Beach Club breathes new life into what used to be PB Bar & Grill. Enjoy watching the Padres or a World Cup game on one of the many big screen TVs, meander onto one of the patios with cocktails and enjoy a lively game of corn hole, or just put your feet up while you lounge on a couch by the outdoor fireplace and take in a perfect San Diego sunset. It’s Picnic Season
Nothing says summer like a picnic. Venissimo Cheese takes the work out of shopping and packing your goodies. In Oceanside, grab a seat on the beautiful rooftop at Hello, Betty Fish House. Besides offering a stellar view of the pier at sunset, the fish house has some fun lined up for warm summer evenings. Listen to Tidal Tunes live music from 5-8 p.m. on Sundays and Tuesdays. Mondays are trivia night from 7–9 p.m. and on Wednesdays, reveal your inner wild thing with Karaoke starting at 7 p.m. Regulars love their salmon sliders, smoked fish tacos and showstopper desserts.
