After previewing a partnership with Uber Eats in select stores in Miami, Florida and Tokyo, Japan, it looks like the coffee mega-retailer is planning to roll out delivery across the United States. No more mid-afternoon latte runs, because Starbucks can come to you! So when will Starbucks bring its Uber Eats partnership delivery service to one-quarter—that’s right, one-quarter—of its American stores? While the coffee giant hasn’t exactly given a start date, the company revealed in a recent press release, it will begin delivering to these new markets sometime in “early 2019.” Between Starbucks Delivers and everything else you can order from your phone—think Amazon Prime, Whole Foods Prime Now delivery, Target…the list goes on—it’s starting to look like you can pretty much stay in all winter long.
