The US has no shortage of amazing water parks—from just-opened volcano-themed to revamped old classics—but we’ve picked out favorites from among the many. H2OBX—Powells Point, Nc

This brand-new waterpark in North Carolina opened this June and makes an exciting addition to an Outer Banks vaycay. With tons of family rides to take on together and plenty of spots to chill in between: embrace the local pirate history at Calico Jack’s Cove—a huge pirate ship water play structure—and gather your crew for a family plunge on the Queen Anne’s Revenge.
