Dream getaway: Kea Lani Maui

After a long streak of rainy, gray Seattle days, I often find myself daydreaming about The Fairmont Kea Lani, located on the pristine white sandy beaches of Wailea, Maui. This family-friendly luxury resort is nestled on 22 acres of tropical landscape and offers two activity pools (connected by a 140-foot waterslide!) an adults-only pool, a year-round kid’s club for ages 5-13 as well as private childcare, four restaurants and a state-of–the-art 9,000 square foot spa. It’s also the only luxury oceanfront resort on Maui that offers both spacious suites and 2 and 3 bedroom villas with panoramic ocean views. You can practically hear “ahhh” in the trade winds.
