Trader Joe’s Sugar Skull Succulents Have Returned

Trending Now

As if Trader Joe’s yoga skeleton air plants weren’t enough holiday-themed fun, now TJ’s also has sugar skull succulents.

The brightly-hued ceramic skulls are a perfect pairing with your Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) décor. If you think you’ve seen these not-so-spooky skulls before, you’re not wrong. Reportedly, TJ’s came out with these little beauties several years ago—and now they’re making a return.

The skulls are available in purple, pink, red, white, black, dark blue and light blue colors. You can also choose between the mini ($4.99) and grande ($9.99) sizes.

According to an archived November’s Trader Joe’s Fearless Flyer, “During this both solemn and festive holiday period, brightly decorated skulls (often made out of sugar or ceramic) are used to honor the dead; sometimes they’re even filled with plants and used as seasonal décor, which is exactly what you’ll find at Trader Joe’s.”

These plant-filled picks are seasonal items, so get them before they’re gone!
