Phew! Who knew we’d ever be caught up in something called a polar vortex? We made it through this time and if it should happen again (or, if you loved laying around in your PJs so much you want more indoor-only days), here are 10 great indoor activities that’ll keep you warm and busy. Click through the slideshow to take a peek.

Cupcake Bakeshop
Is there anything kids love more than cupcakes? Grab a dozen silicone cupcake holders and your collection of play dough and let your tiny bakers get busy whipping up a dozen of their very own cupcakes. They can mix and match colors, make sprinkles and cut out shape decorations using their hands or play dough tools as well. If you have a play kitchen, line up their creations on a tray and let them put them in the play oven to ‘bake.’ You can also pile their cupcakes into their play car and let them ‘deliver’ them to real or imaginary people at stations around the house!

How do you beat cabin fever with your kids? Let us know your creative ways to keep your kiddos occupied when you’re all stuck inside.
