The Best Museums in the Country for Crawling Babies

She’s on the move, but not on her feet yet. Lucky for you, there are plenty of museums that cater to the crawling set. Even better, a visit won’t break your budget, since kids under one are almost always free-of-charge. Here, you’ll find 14 of our favorite museums for busy crawlers, both large and small, from across the country.

Portland Children’s Museum – Portland, Or

Crawlers will find chance for fun all over the Portland Children's Museum. In the Treehouse Adventure exhibit, babies can crawl through a tunnel or relax in a cozy nook, and the Twilight Trail offers lights and shadows that mesmerize kiddos. An outdoor toddler area lets your little one get dirty and play with water. Admission is free for babies under one, and costs $10.75 for everyone else.
