The Best Museums in the Country for Crawling Babies

She’s on the move, but not on her feet yet. Lucky for you, there are plenty of museums that cater to the crawling set. Even better, a visit won’t break your budget, since kids under one are almost always free-of-charge. Here, you’ll find 14 of our favorite museums for busy crawlers, both large and small, from across the country.

Seattle Children’s Museum – Seattle, Wa

Seattle parents can bring their crawlers to the Seattle Children's Museum, where Discovery Bay offers a space crammed full of sensory activities just for three and unders and their grown-ups. A fish tank mesmerizes little ones, while a slide offers a chance for a little active fun. Plus, the museum hosts a Baby Peppers play group each Wednesday, so littles ages five to twelve months and their parents can connect with each other. Admission is discounted for grandparents - $9.50 per person - and free for babies under one, then $10.50 per person for all other visitors.
