Dazzle ‘Em! Great Holiday Light Displays From Coast to Coast

What puts a twinkle in a kid’s eyes? Seeing holiday lights. From a brilliant Loch Ness Monster in D.C. to a classic Candy Cane Lane in Seattle, we rounded up the country’s coolest light displays. Flip through our photo album to see it all and get in the spirit.

The Legendary Lights of Clifton Mill – Clifton, Ohio

Nestled along a small creek, Clifton Mill is normally a breakfast and brunch spot for locals. But starting the day after Thanksgiving, the 3.5 million light display comes to life nightly, illuminating the mill, the gorge, the riverbanks, trees and bridges. There is even a 100-foot-long “river” of twinkling lights that looks like a real waterfall. The most recent addition is a covered bridge, which hosts a synchronized light and music show. Clifton Mill also has its own Santa Claus Museum featuring some Santa Claus figures that date back all the way to the 1850s. For more info, click here.
