Costway has recalled three double stroller styles because they violate the Federal Standard for Carriages and Strollers. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the recall affects about 16,000 strollers and also poses fall, entrapment and strangulation hazards.
The strollers are being recalled because it has been found that a child’s body can fit in the opening between the activity tray and the seat bottom, where their head can become entrapped. Additionally, the strollers also pose a fall hazard because the crotch restraint creates too large of an opening between the seat bottom and the restraint itself.

The affected strollers include:
- Model BB4476- Infant Double Stroller in red, black and gray
- Model BB4613- Infant Double Stroller in black
- Model BB4690- Face to Face Double Stroller in gray
Additionally, a tag on the seat reads: “MADE FOR GOPLUS CORP 11250 POPLAR AVE. FONTANA, CA 92337.” The strollers were sold at costway.com and amazon.com from May 2016 through Dec. 2019 for approximately $100.
