Mini Makers: Where to Create, Craft, and Cook

Splash parks, pools, and playgrounds have been in the rotation for weeks now, and your kids may be growing weary (shocking, we know). Shake things up with a class or camp that lets the littles keep their hands busy crafting, cooking, inventing, and building.

Jimmy Potters Studio & Workshop

Inviting kids to “clay around,” this pottery studio teaches the ceramic techniques of hand building and mastering the potter’s wheel in weekly half-day camps, through August 21. Bird feeders, animal sculptures, picture frames, soap dishes, and even clay copies of archaeological artifacts are just some of the works young artists ages 6-12 can make.

When: Camps have weekly themes and are held 1:30-4:30, Monday – Friday, through August 21
Cost: $180 per child includes all materials
