The Live-Action “Lady and the Tramp” Reboot Stars Real Rescue Dogs

Another Disney live reboot is in the works––Lady and the Tramp is coming to the new Disney+ on Nov. 12, and the made-for-streaming film stars rescue dogs!

Disney combines a cast of superstar celebs with IRL rescue pups for this epic remake. So which stars will grace the small screen and where did the playful pooches come from?

Justin Theroux voices the title role of Tramp—who is played by Monte, a rescue from a Phoenix area shelter. Tramp’s love interest is voiced by actress Tessa Thompson and played by Rose, a couldn’t-be-cuter Cocker Spaniel.

Other star/dog pairs include Sam Elliott as Trusty, Janelle Monae as Peg, Ashley Jensen as Jock and Benedict Wong as Bull.
