23 Quaint Towns Worth Traveling to This Winter

You don’t have to go big to keep your little snow bunnies entertained this winter. In fact, these tiny towns are proving just how much adventure one family can fit into a small space, with everything from sleigh rides and sledding to skijoring and sightseeing, and even a few that don’t include snowy goodness (hello, beaches and sunshine). If you prefer to spend the holidays at home, but know that a post-festivities winter break will be calling your name, check out this cool small town, which hosts a several events around the winter holidays. Hop on one of the Polar Bear Express trolley rides at Rockhill Trolley Museum. They run on Fridays and Saturdays only, from Nov. 24 - Dec. 9, 2017. If you come to town after the new year, you’ll want to experience Batfest, where kids can observe bats at Lincoln Caverns and Whisper Rocks.
