The Inspiration
Since the debut of her own fashion brand in 2012, designer Anine Bing always dreamed of starting a kids’ line. Bing’s adorable kiddos, Benjamin (age 4) and Bianca (age 7) serve as her inspiration and have tried on many samples over the years.
Now, with the Anine Bing brand in such a great place (eight flagship stores worldwide), it finally felt like the perfect time to take the leap. Bing, says, “Ever since the launch of Anine Bing, I have wanted a kidswear line to go with it. As a consumer for my own family, I haven’t found the perfect basics with an edge for my kids, so I’m more than excited to be launching Bing Kids. The fact that my own kids, friends, and followers have been asking for this for years, makes it extra special.”

Signature Lewk
The collection is very much in line with the Anine Bing mother brand—which is exactly why you’ll want to raid your tyke’s closet stat. Pssst…we’ll never tell. Pieces include easy-cool basics that can take junior from park playdate to a nice family dinner at Cecconi’s. The most expensive piece of the collection, the to-die-for Motely Moto Jacket made of buttery soft leather is $399, but most pieces come in under $100 with t-shirts starting at $39 and adorable dresses at $69.

“In our family, my kids love to run around and get dirty at times, so this collection isn’t about being too precious or perfect. I really want to instill confidence and playfulness for any kid wearing the clothes,” says Bing.
The best part? All of the pieces are unisex with the exception of a dress or two. She adds, “I love the look of a pair of skinny jeans or leggings with a rock tee and an army jacket or flannel. It works great for both boys and girls.”

Family Counts
Anyone who follows Anine Bing on her Instagram knows how important family time is to her. Living in Los Feliz with her husband and two kids, Bing loves exploring LA just as much as relaxing at home. “As a family, we’re very easy. We love going to farmer’s markets on weekends, going up to Griffith Park for a hike, sitting around the table making pancakes on Sunday mornings. Sometimes, my daughter and I go for a little girl time and get manicures. We just love hanging around our new house together as a family or with friends and family over too. In the summer, my kids are always in the pool,” says Bing.
Where to Buy: Bing Kids is only available through the e-commerce site, not in stores. New styles will drop monthly, so check back regularly to purchase those must-have items first.
Extra, Extra: Each Bing Kids order includes an adorable set of stickers kids will go ga-ga for.
