While sunny LA may be a relaxing, vacation destination for some, navigating the daily hustle and bustle in this sprawling town can eventually take a toll and leave even the littlest ones feeling a bit frayed around the edges. So when you and your kids are in need of some major zen in the city, check out these favorite family-friendly yoga spots that will give your crew a chance to “ohm” and “namaste” their stress away.

Shorty Yoga
This intimate, chic-meets-tranquility, all-kids (from newborns to tweens) studio is where you’ll find dope mini yogis doing downward dog most days of the week. Though it’s located in Beverly Hills, the ambiance here is anything but hoity-toity. Your little ones will dance, jump and soar across the studio while listening to pop music for the better part of the class. Cheery teachers use ribbons and other yoga props to help kids get their wiggles out during the 45-minute session.
The 2 to 4-year-old class is artfully instructed to include imaginative games and all-out silliness mixed in with basic yoga poses. When class winds down, even the most energetic of kids will surprisingly (and impressively) melt into the sweetest teacher-led savasana.
Insider tip: The signature Mamastay class centers on little ones but also gives caretakers a chance to stretch those tired limbs. And a heads up for new clients—use code REDTRI to try your first class for free.

Warrior & Co
Warrior & Co offers an array of classes to accommodate families with kids of all ages. For the preschool set, the Parent and Mini Warrior class combines equal doses of yoga and play: kids are encouraged to practice alongside you but can always opt out and grab a nearby toy. Teachers here help instruct kids into poses with the help of an adorable posable yoga bear. Asanas are kept short to keep kids present and interested. In between poses, little ones will sing songs and pop a few bubbles, all while you’re getting a few stress-relieving forward folds in for yourself.
Bigger kids enjoy Junior Warrior class (ages 5-8) and Tween Warrior (ages 9-14). Both classes incorporate movement with the more meditative aspects of yoga, like breathwork. And while the big kids are getting their Om on, you can work out as well: adult classes of all levels are taught throughout the day.
