Be Our Guest! Kid-Friendly NYC Hotels

Unless you work in Times Square, it can be easy to forget that NYC is a major family tourist destination. The city’s hotels, however, do not, and that’s good news for both resident and visiting clans. Whether you’re planning a staycation, researching a fantasy birthday experience or want some out of town kids to get the white glove treatment, these spots go out of their way to offer over-the-top amenities and other goodies for junior guests. Click through to see NYC’s most kid-friendly hotels!

For Kid-Friendly Dining with a Side of Book

The first thing you see when you walk into the lobby of the Park Hyatt: Kids, kids, kids. It’s no wonder the team created Feed Your Mind + Stuff Your Tummy, a collaboration with Phaidon Publishing. Here’s how this program, inspired by a traditional cheese service, works: Dine at The Back Room, the hotel’s restaurant, and watch as a cheery red cart with books for each age/stage is wheeled right over to your table. Let’s say your child wants a Pac Man Waffle. No problem. Or how about a Little Salmon Bento Box. Easy. Best of all, if your little one orders an appetizer, main course and dessert, the book’s a keeper.
