Pink’s daughter Willow belted out a seriously impressive rendition of Olivia Rodrigo’s “The Rose Song” for a Christmas recital
There has long been no doubt that Willow Sage Hart, the 11-year-old daughter of Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, inherited her famous mom’s singing ability. And lucky for us, this girl keeps showing off her beautiful voice—most recently, at a Christmas recital, where she sang a cover of an Olivia Rodrigo song that blew away her mom (and all the fans following along on Instagram).
On stage next to a brightly lit Christmas tree, Willow confidently held the microphone and sang “The Rose Song,” which you may recognize from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. While Olivia Rodrigo’s original version of the song is haunting and beautiful, we’re stunned by Willow’s rendition.
“So proud of this girl (first recital) nailed it,” Pink wrote on Instagram, where she shared a video of the performance for her fans to see. “This 11 year old (11,000 year old soul) blows me away.”
Seriously, you just have to watch the video. Willow is obviously a talented singer, even at such a young age. At the end of her performance, she gets a ton of cheers as she smiles widely, takes a bow, and exits the stage. Her sweet performance even caught Rodrigo’s eye—she commented on Pink’s Instagram video, “I’m crying!!!!! what a special girl ❤️”
Really, it should come as no surprise that Willow is following in her mom’s musical footsteps. She and Pink released their first song together, a duet called “Cover Me in Sunshine,” when Willow was just nine years old. Last year, the pair shared the stage at the Billboard Music Awards, where they performed the song together—along with some impressive trapeze choreography. Willow clearly has a special future ahead of her, with all that talent, and we can’t wait to see where she takes it.
