Giant mechanical bugs welcome you to Insect Village at the Pacific Science Center. Home to the domino cockroach, Madagascar hissing cockroach, giant Brazilian cockroaches and other creepy crawlies of all shapes and sizes, PSC is a bug lover's paradise. Stick insects, blue death-feigning beetles, scorpions and tarantulas also call PSC home, and if you're really "lucky," a docent will even let you hold one! Around the corner, you'll also find the Butterfly House full of those beautiful flying bugs. Psst...stay still, and one might land on you!
Good to Know: If you're a fan of eight-legged friends, you'll want to visit the spider exhibit in October, when it's at its most spectacular.
