She decided to bring tasty gluten-free foods to the Seattle community to spread the healthy love. Niche offers breakfast and lunch six days a week, and her exclusive breakfast and lunch menus feature a variety of small bites and hearty meals. For over 35 years, Cinnamon Works has been making delicious baked good for Seattleites and hungry tourists visiting the Emerald City. Although they sell items both made with wheat and gluten-free, this bakery's popularity and prime location in the heart of the Pike Place Market puts them on our map of places to try. Loaded with gluten-free, vegan and sugar-free options, kids will rave over their chocolate chip, monster, oatmeal raisin and pumpkin cookies that come from the display case still warm and nearly the size of their heads. Of course they have cinnamon rolls too with several options to choose from, including gluten-free, vegan and with or without icing. Eating out can be challenging when you’re navigating food allergies and sensitives, but we've found the place for you! Flying Apron uses creativity and ingenuity to hand-craft delicious gluten-free menu items to satisfy every palate. Using alternative flour combinations and organic sweeteners sourced from local, reputable suppliers, Flying Apron creates your favorite treats. Their certified gluten-free and vegan bake shops located in both Fremont (within a stone’s throw from the Troll) and on the Eastside (in downtown Redmond) are well-stocked with gluten-free delights. Take your pick from the wide selection of cookies, donuts, cupcakes, muffins, brownies or tarts. Savory items like pizza, lasagna, quiche, and mac 'n cheese are also available if you want something more substantial in their tummies.

Note: There is a limited quantity of savory items available at both retail locations. Order ahead (72 hours in advance) to ensure your favorite gluten-free dishes are ready to take home.

Formerly known as Pacific Northwest Cupcakes, Grain Artisan Bakery prides itself on unique flavor combinations. Grain is not a certified gluten-free bakery, but nearly all of their cakes and cupcake recipes can be made gluten-free and/or vegan. Keep in mind, these baked goods are not baked in a gluten-free kitchen and may come into contact with allergens. Some of Grain’s highly recommend flavor profiles include dark cacao & sea salted caramel, heirloom carrot & cream cheese, cream earl gray & wild lavender, and salted raw honey & raspberry. Place an order or find them at the Everett, Snohomish and Mill Creek Farmers Markets starting in May. They also hold bi-weekly pop-ups at Looking Glass Coffee in Snohomish and feature their baked goods at area festivals and events. Check their calendar to find out where they’ll be next.
