The holiday season often means packing up the kids and hopping on the interstate for a family road trip. While they say the journey is more important than the destination, ask any parent who has spent a few hours cooped up in a car with an antsy toddler and they’ll tell you that keeping kids entertained is more than half the battle. Flip through our album to discover some engrossing apps that’ll divert even the most impatient junior road warrior and help delay the inevitable question, “Are we there yet?”
Mr. White Cloud Astros Plan
Based on the super-kawaii, daydreaming character named Mr. White Cloud, this adorable app is a fun diversion for young travelers who have grown tired of watching videos on their tablets and mobile devices in the car. In the game, Mr. White Cloud enrolls in a school where he needs to complete different tasks to achieve “the Astros Plan.” With help from his friends Miss Rainbow, Ordinary Bear, and Naughty Rabbit, Mr. White Cloud prompts players to answer trivia questions and perform a variety of gaming puzzles. Rewards include cute stamps and virtual stickers.
Good for ages 5 & up.
Available on Google Play and iTunes, free with in-app purchases.
