The Best Fall Classes for Curious Tots & Preschoolers

School’s back in session for big bro and big sis and your tiny tots/preschoolers are yearning to do some learning of their own. Corral those curious creatures, make your way to these enriching classes and watch their world expand. Flip through our slideshow to find the best brain candy from feeding miniature cows to singing in español.

Mint Studio

This art studio with strong ties to the community and a small neighborhood vibe offers a stellar menu of morning classes for the before preschool age set. Classes are not paid for by the session, but instead by each class, which is a nice option for schedules that tend to vary week to week. The class options are almost limitless, but two favorites are the Storytelling + Crafting Tues., 10-11 a.m. and Little Artistas Thurs., 10.-11 a.m. On Tues., littles will be read a new story each week and they'll take home a craft that ties in with that day's book. And each Thurs., those hopeful with brushes and paints will learn about an artist and their respective mediums and techniques. After a fun history lesson, the artistas will complete a project in the same manner that the studied artist would have created their masterpieces. You could almost plan your whole week around activities at Mint Studio, so drop in to see why this place is so inspiring.
