Spotify Kids Now Available for Listening in the U.S.

Last year, Spotify launched a beta version of a stand-alone app for kids in select countries for Spotify Premium Family subscribers. Now the app, called Spotify Kids is available to listeners in the U.S., Canada and France!

Spotify Kids is geared towards kids three and older and provides an ad-free experience where they can listen to stories, sing-alongs and soundtracks. Privacy and safety features are a major feature of the family-friendly app.

Each song and playlist has been hand selected by Spotify editors with kids in mind. Currently littles can choose from over 125 playlists, 8,000 songs, Disney Music Group Stories, short stories, classics and fairy tales.

Come bedtime, parents can use Spotify Kids to play calming music, sounds, bedtimes stories and lullabies. They will also be able to customize their kids listening experience, including setting what they can and can’t listen to.

Kids can also use the app to access the Learning playlist hub that teaches the ABC’s, science, counting, a global playlist and more. U.S. customers will be able to listen to core faves, in addition to country, Motown, Christian, Spanish language and soul dance party playlists.

Spotify Kids is available exclusively to Spotify Premium Family subscribers at no additional charge. Users can download the app on both Android and iOs devices. If you’d like to sign up and get one free month of Premium Family, visit spotify.com/family.
