The Best 15 Food Halls & Markets in the Country

Steamy bowls of pho, chicken tikka masala burritos, gourmet gelato popsicles and burgers piled high with produce—food halls offer options like these and much, much more. They are the perfect spot for families because they provide a break from meal monotony, offer something for everyone, and just might push the kids to try something new. We’ve gathered 15 of our favorite foodie spots that are totally worth a visit (or two!). See them all below.

Reading Terminal – Philadelphia, Pa

Amish specialties, handmade sweets, locally grown produce and more—you can find them all at Reading Terminal. Quench your thirst with one of the flavored lemonades at Lancaster County Dairy. Then your nose will lead the way to The Rib Stand—known for their ribs and boneless rib sandwiches. Cheese curds and corndogs can be found at Fox & Sons Fancy Corndogs (don't forget an order of the poutine while you're there). Meltkraft Grilled Cheese is a restaurant that makes grilled cheese from its own handmade cheese. If you are lucky, you might even catch them hand-pulling the mozzarella while you are there.

Must try: Pumpple cake from the Flying Monkey Bakery (an oddly delicious combo of pie and cake)
