Scott Calvin is back!
It’s been almost 30 years since the OG The Santa Clause movie debuted starring Tim Allen, and now he’s making a comeback. Disney+ has just debuted a new trailer for a brand new series, The Santa Clauses!
For 90’s kids, the series is the nostalgic throwback we need for the holiday season. “To be on set again with so many of the original cast (more to come eventually) was like seeing family again,” Allen, told PEOPLE. “It’s almost as if time had stood still other than my age. I look younger now in the Santa makeup than I do out of it…Walking on set the first day it was wonderful to watch the faces of kids and adults wide-eyed and smiling. It reminds me how this movie magic works.”

Scott Calvin has been Santa Claus for almost three decade but Christmas isn’t as popular as it once was. When he finds a way to retire, he discovers his successor may not be doing the job he should be and the family must decide if they should abandon their life on Earth to return to the North Pole and save Christmas. “I retired too soon. I hired the wrong guy,” Scott says.
The Santa Clauses Cast
Tim Allen returns as as Scott Calvin/Santa Claus as well as Elizabeth Mitchell returning as as Carol/Mrs. Claus. Also joining is Elizabeth Allen-Dick––Tim Allen’s actual daughter! Devin Bright, Austen Kane, Matilda Lawler, Rupali Redd, and Kal Penn also appear. David Krumholz will be returning as Bernard, we even get a sneak peek at Eric Lloyd, who played Scott’s son Charlie in the first three films, in the trailer.

The Santa Clauses Release Date
The first two episodes of the six-episode series will premiere Wed., Nov. 16, only on Disney+.
