Normandy, France – Le Perche

With kids coming along for the ride, the Parisian dream of biking on cobblestone streets with a baguette in our basket isn’t ideal. But visiting this small Normandy town of castles, forests and vineyards easily replaces that picturesque image. There are two long paths, the Le Perche Forest Route and Le Perche Castles and Lakes, for exploration sans busy cityscape.

Family Travel Tip: Stop by the Ecomusee du Perche (Museum of Perche) for a historical visit filled with activities for kids.
