César Chávez Park at the Berkeley Marina – Berkeley, Ca

Home to the Berkeley Kite Fest and jaw-dropping views of San Francisco, you can’t go wrong hoisting a kite at César Chávez Park at the Berkeley Marina. The 90-acre space also has stroller-accessible trails, picnic tables, wetlands, and a wildlife sanctuary so it’s a breeze to spend the whole day exploring with your crew.

Insider Tip: Don’t forget to stop off at Highline Kites, a solar powered “kite store on wheels,” which you’ll find at the north end of the park.
