23 Quaint Towns Worth Traveling to This Winter

You don’t have to go big to keep your little snow bunnies entertained this winter. In fact, these tiny towns are proving just how much adventure one family can fit into a small space, with everything from sleigh rides and sledding to skijoring and sightseeing, and even a few that don’t include snowy goodness (hello, beaches and sunshine). Flip through to find your next pint-sized winter destination!

Sisters, Oregon (Appx. Population 2,573)

Consider this small town in central Oregon (just outside of Bend) a winter paradise if what you and your kid crew are looking for is tubing, snow play and downhill skiing. After the fresh powder flies, it’s time to hit the slopes or the tubing hill at the nearby Hoodoo Ski Area. Then, when everyone’s good and tired, head back into town to fill your bellies at one of the many local restaurants, or even relax (parents only) at the Essentials Spa. Experience Oregon at its best!
